Below we'll cover the basics for new users to get started on Facet:

Setting up a Wallet

A major differentiator for Facet is that Facet transactions are actually Ethereum transactions.

If you already have an Ethereum wallet, you're all set to interact with the Facet network.

There's no need to download a custom wallet or connect to a separate blockchain. Facet's seamless integration with Ethereum ensures that your existing setup is fully compatible.

However, for those who are new to blockchain or want to ensure they are correctly set up, here's a quick guide:

1

Choose a Wallet

To start using Facet, you need an Ethereum-compatible wallet. Some popular options include:

  • (hardware wallet)

  • (hardware wallet)

2

Install and Configure Your Wallet

Create a new wallet or import an existing one using your seed phrase.

Be sure to securely back up your wallet's seed phrase during configuration. This is critical, as it's the key to recovering your wallet and funds.

Connecting to Facet

Since Facet transactions are executed as Ethereum transactions, there's no need to add a new network to your wallet! Simply use your wallet as you would for any Ethereum transaction - your existing ETH balance can be used as gas to execute Facet transactions. This simplicity and seamless integration make Facet an attractive choice for users and developers looking for an easy transition into a scalable, decentralized platform.
